AI Study for Lung Cancer Type and Genetics via PET/CT

This study uses an AI system that looks at your PET/CT scan images to figure out the exact type and genetic makeup of your non-small cell lung cancer. The goal is to improve how doctors classify and treat your cancer without needing extra invasive tests.

Who can take part

  • You must be newly diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), confirmed by a biopsy.
  • You must be 18 years of age or older.
  • You must have had an FDG-PET/CT scan before starting any cancer treatment.
  • You must not have had any prior cancer treatments for this lung cancer (no chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery yet).
  • You must not have a history of other cancers (except maybe some non-melanoma skin cancers).
  • Your lung nodule must show FDG uptake on the scan—pure ground-glass nodules that don't light up are excluded.
