Who can take part
- You must be newly diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), confirmed by a biopsy.
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
- You must have had an FDG-PET/CT scan before starting any cancer treatment.
- You must not have had any prior cancer treatments for this lung cancer (no chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery yet).
- You must not have a history of other cancers (except maybe some non-melanoma skin cancers).
- Your lung nodule must show FDG uptake on the scan—pure ground-glass nodules that don't light up are excluded.
