Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have an early-stage kidney tumor (called T1a) that is smaller than 4 cm
- A biopsy confirmed the tumor is kidney cancer, done either before or within 30 days of the planned ablation
- You do not have other health problems that would make ablation unsafe
- You are able to carry out daily activities with little or no help (ECOG score 0-2)
