Who can take part

  • You are between 20 and 80 years old.
  • You have early-stage stomach cancer that has not spread beyond the first layers of the stomach wall.
  • You are healthy enough for surgery (able to carry out daily activities with little or no help).
  • You have not had chemotherapy or radiation for this cancer before surgery.
  • You have not had any other cancer treated in the last 5 years, except for certain skin or cervical cancers.
  • You are not pregnant, planning pregnancy, or enrolled in another clinical trial.
