- You are 18 years or older
- You are admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) at Al-Basrah Teaching Hospital or Al-Fayhaa General Hospital
- You have been in the hospital for at least 48 hours
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
- You are not receiving end-of-life or palliative care
- You (or your legal guardian) can provide consent
