Who can take part

  • You must be under 18 years old when the treatment or ultrasound happened.
  • Either you had radiation for cancer between 1999 and 2018 and were followed at a specific clinic in Bologna for at least 4 years, OR you did not have radiation but had a thyroid ultrasound at that same clinic in the same time period with no known thyroid risk factors.
  • If you had radiation, you must not have been moved to another hospital before completing 4 years of follow-up.
  • You or your parent/guardian must give permission (informed consent) to join.
