Who can take part

  • You have been smoking cigarettes regularly for at least 6 months.
  • You do not have any chronic lung, heart, or brain/nervous system disease (like COPD, heart disease, or a psychiatric disorder).
  • You have not had surgery or an injury to your chest or breathing muscles in the last 3 months.
  • You do not currently have any infection, especially a cold, flu, or lung infection.
  • You are not pregnant, and you are not suspected to be pregnant.
