Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease for at least 3 months.
  • You are starting infliximab or vedolizumab (biologics) for the first time.
  • You can wear a small heart rate monitor device and agree to the study.
  • You are not taking more than one biologic at the same time.
  • You have not had IBD-related surgery in the last 4 weeks or plan any during the study.
  • You do not have severe anxiety or depression that is not controlled, or take certain heart medications that cannot stay at a stable dose.
