Who can take part

  • You have had or will have a stem cell transplant from a donor.
  • You or your donor had EBV in your blood before transplant, or you had EBV after transplant without it reaching your plasma.
  • You have a condition linked to EBV (like lymphoma or chronic active EBV) that led to the transplant, or you had EBV in the past and need a transplant for another disease.
  • Your kidney, liver, and general health are good enough (e.g., no severe kidney or liver problems, no serious infections, and you are expected to live more than 6 weeks).
