Who can take part

  • You have early-stage (stage I) non-small cell lung cancer.
  • Your doctor has planned surgery to remove the cancer, either as a segmentectomy or lobectomy.
  • The surgery will be done using minimally invasive methods (VATS or RATS).
  • You have not had any chest surgery in the past year.
  • You have not had chemotherapy or radiation before surgery.
  • You are able and willing to fill out questionnaires about your health and quality of life before the surgery.
