Who can take part

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • You must be in good general health (ASA I or II)
  • You need a non-surgical second root canal on a tooth that has a small infection at the root tip (no bigger than 10 mm on x-ray)
  • The root canal space at the tip must be small enough to fit a size 50 file
  • Your tooth must not have gum disease or loose teeth
  • You cannot be a smoker, and your tooth must have enough healthy structure left for treatment
