Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 55 years old.
  • You must be overweight or obese with a BMI between 25 and 40.
  • You must be generally healthy as determined by your study doctor after a check-up.
  • You must agree to use effective birth control if you or your partner could become pregnant.
  • You cannot have lost or gained more than 5% of your body weight in the last 3 months.
  • You cannot have had or plan weight-loss surgery or use weight-loss medications/supplements recently.
