Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 65 years old.
- You have a diagnosis of schizophrenia (not other conditions like bipolar or schizoaffective disorder).
- Your symptoms are relatively stable (you score 75 or lower on a standard symptom scale).
- You are currently taking one or two antipsychotic medications (other than cariprazine) and have been on them for at least 3 months.
- You have either taken cariprazine before without problems or are willing to try it for a few days.
- You are willing to stay at the study site for about a week after receiving the study injection.
