Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years old or older.
  • You cannot use a CPAP or similar breathing machine during the sleep study if you currently use one.
  • You must not need oxygen therapy while sleeping.
  • You cannot have another untreated sleep disorder (like severe insomnia) besides sleep-disordered breathing.
  • You must not be pregnant or possibly pregnant.
  • You cannot have a permanent pacemaker, certain heart rhythm issues, or take certain heart medications.
  • You have not worked an overnight shift in the past 3 days.
  • You are not allergic to the NightOwl sensor used in the study.
