  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You are scheduled for surgery to remove part or all of your pancreas for a benign or malignant condition.
  • You are able to understand and sign a consent form.
  • You do not have any medical reason that would prevent general anesthesia.
  • You do not have severe liver disease (Child-Pugh class C).
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
