Who can take part

  • You are between 40 and 75 years old.
  • You have stable heart or artery disease (for example, a past heart attack more than 6 months ago, a stent or bypass, or blocked leg arteries).
  • You are already on standard medications (like a statin and a blood thinner) for at least 8 weeks.
  • Your blood pressure is controlled (below 160/100).
  • You have not had a heart attack, stroke, or heart procedure in the last 6 months.
