Who can take part

  • You have liver disease from a chronic hepatitis C infection and are being seen at the Hepatitis Clinic at Hospital Civil Fray Antonio Alcalde.
  • Your Child-Pugh score (a measure of liver function) is less than 8.
  • You are between 18 and 69 years old.
  • You have not had any alcohol in the past 6 months.
  • You do not have serious liver complications (like severe fluid buildup, confusion, or kidney problems) and no history of cancer, autoimmune disease, or dementia.
