Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with overall body weakness and reduced muscle strength.
  • A doctor has confirmed that it is safe for you to do leg strength exercises.
  • You are willing and able to give written consent to join the study.
  • You do not have unstable heart rhythms, heart muscle strain, unsafe blood pressure drops, or high blood pressure above 160/100 even on medication.
  • You have no history of blood clots, current leg swelling, or skin color changes in your legs.
  • You do not have frequent dizziness, confusion, bluish skin, or unexplained tiredness.
