Can gentle pressure on the skin boost leg strength?

Who can take part

  • You are generally healthy with no history of nerve or muscle injuries.
  • You have not had any leg surgery or injury in the last 6 months.
  • You have no known heart or blood vessel disease.
  • You do not have severe chronic lung disease (COPD).
  • You are considered untrained — meaning you do not do intense leg strength workouts or regular sports.
