Who can take part

  • Child must be 4 to just under 17 years old
  • At least one stye larger than 3 mm that appeared within the last 6 months
  • Will not use other omega-3 supplements or stye treatments during the first 8 weeks
  • Must have a working microwave and refrigerator at home
  • Parent must have a smartphone or device to take and upload photos
  • Must be willing to try the assigned treatment after a test run in the doctor's office
  • Cannot be allergic to fish, tea tree oil, or other study products
  • Cannot have certain medical conditions (like diabetes, thyroid issues, or liver disease)
