  • You are pregnant and in the first 13 weeks and 6 days
  • You are 18 years or older
  • You are carrying one baby (not twins or more)
  • You are at high risk for gestational diabetes based on a study screening
  • You plan to deliver at a hospital that is part of this study
  • You do not have diabetes before pregnancy and are not taking medicines like metformin or steroids
