Who can take part
- You have a recurrent glioblastoma that has come back after standard treatment (surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy).
- The tumor is in the upper part of the brain (supratentorial) and measures no more than 3 cm on MRI.
- You must be able to have an Ommaya reservoir (a small port under the scalp) placed to deliver the study drug directly into the tumor.
- You have had a polio vaccine booster between 1 week and 6 months before starting the study, and your blood shows enough antibodies against polio.
- You are in reasonably good health with a Karnofsky performance score of 70 or higher (able to care for yourself and do some daily activities).
- You are not pregnant, and you agree to use effective contraception during the study and for 90 days after.
