Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for surgery to treat congenital glaucoma (glaucoma you were born with).
  • You are in good general health (ASA grade I or II).
  • You do not have heart or blood vessel problems.
  • You do not have a current cold, cough, or other respiratory infection.
  • You do not have a known difficult airway or a full stomach.
  • You have not had previous glaucoma surgery on the same eye.
