- You are 18 years or older
- You are already a patient at the Fondazione Policlinico Gemelli for a check-up or prevention program
- You are willing to give extra blood samples for research
- You are willing to have a liver stiffness scan (FibroScan)
- You have never had a heart attack, stroke, or other heart disease
- You do not have a chronic inflammatory disease (like rheumatoid arthritis or lupus)
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
