Who can take part
- You are between 35 and 41 weeks pregnant (third trimester).
- You are carrying either one baby or twins (dichorionic or monochorionic).
- You are between 30 and 45 years old.
- Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18.5 and 34 (normal weight to class I obesity).
- You have never been diagnosed with weak bones (osteopenia or osteoporosis) and have no thyroid, kidney, or liver problems.
- You are not taking vitamin D or other medications during pregnancy, and have not had recent fractures or motor disabilities.
