  • You are scheduled for elective (non-emergency) coronary artery bypass surgery.
  • You do not have a preexisting neurological condition (like epilepsy, Parkinson's, or a stroke history).
  • You are not taking medications for seizures or epilepsy.
  • You do not have severe liver disease.
