Who can take part

  • You must have AML or MDS/AML with a TP53 gene mutation or deletion.
  • You must either be untreated or in your first relapse or have not responded to initial treatment.
  • You must be able to perform daily activities with minimal help (Karnofsky score of 60 or higher).
  • You cannot have an active infection that is not under control, or a history of HIV, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C.
  • Your kidneys and liver must be working well enough (certain blood test levels must be within range).
  • You cannot have had a stem cell transplant within the last 3 months, or have certain heart or pancreas problems.
