  • Age 19 or older (and not over 90)
  • Recent heart attack or unstable angina requiring a stent in a blocked artery
  • Blocked artery suitable for treatment with a Synergy stent
  • Able to take blood-thinning medications and contrast dye without allergic reactions
  • Willing to return for follow-up visits and imaging over the next 6 months
  • No plans for major surgery within 6 months that would stop blood-thinner medications
