Testing a nerve biopsy method to diagnose leprosy

LeprosyLeprosy NeuropathyLeprosy, MultibacillaryLeprosy--PatientsMononeuropathiesPolyneuropathies

Part of Brain & nervous system, Infections clinical trials.

This study tests a new way to diagnose leprosy by taking a tiny sample from a nerve under the skin using ultrasound guidance. The goal is to see if this method can accurately detect leprosy and help doctors know when treatment is working.

Ultrasound for nerve disease diagnosis

This study uses ultrasound to look at nerves in people with a nerve condition called polyneuropathy that isn't caused by something else. It aims to see if ultrasound can help doctors diagnose this condition better.
