Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older
- You have a kidney stone that is larger than 15 millimeters (about the size of a large pea)
- You are scheduled to have a new mini-PCNL surgery on one kidney, while lying on your back
- You are not pregnant
- You do not have any unusual anatomy in your urinary tract
- You do not have a bleeding disorder that hasn't been corrected
