Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You are male or were assigned male at birth
- You have been newly diagnosed with localized prostate cancer (cancer that hasn't spread beyond the prostate)
- You are scheduled for prostate removal surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center as part of your regular care
- You are able to understand and consent to the study in English
- Your prostate is not extremely enlarged (less than 80 cubic centimeters) and cancer has not clearly spread outside the prostate on your most recent MRI
