Who can take part

  • Diagnosed with prostate cancer that has spread locally (stages T2-T3a) but not to lymph nodes or distant sites
  • Healthy enough to have robot-assisted prostate removal surgery
  • Your surgical team has decided not to try to preserve nerves on at least one side of your prostate based on imaging and biopsy results
  • Able to read English and understand the study information to give informed consent
  • Have not received hormone therapy (ADT) before surgery
  • Have not had previous prostate cancer treatment like radiation, chemotherapy, or focal therapy
