New Nanoparticle Treatment for Root Canal Therapy

  • Age 18 or older
  • Generally healthy (no serious medical conditions that would prevent a regular dental visit)
  • Have one tooth that needs root canal treatment and shows signs of infection on X-ray
  • That tooth does not respond to heat or electrical testing (signs it may need root canal)
  • Tooth has enough structure left to be properly isolated during treatment
  • No previous root canal treatment on this specific tooth
  • Healthy gums with no deep pockets, looseness, or swelling
