Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 50 years old.
  • The tooth needing treatment is a single-rooted upper front tooth (like a front incisor) and has fully formed roots.
  • There is a confirmed infection or inflammation at the root tip seen on an X-ray.
  • The tooth has already had a root canal treatment before but now needs to have that treatment redone (retreatment).
  • The tooth has not had a root canal retreatment before.
  • You are in good general health and agree to join the study.
