This study tests whether special breathing exercises combined with pelvic floor strengthening exercises (Kegel's) help postpartum women recover core strength and reduce pain. You'd do these exercises for a set period to see if they help close the gap between your abdominal muscles after pregnancy.

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 40 years old
  • You are 42–49 days after giving birth (about 6–7 weeks postpartum)
  • You have a gap of 3–5 cm between your abdominal muscles (measured by a clinician)
  • Your pain level is 6 or lower on a 0–10 pain scale
  • You have not received physical therapy or exercise instruction before
  • You do not have heart, respiratory, or pelvic/abdominal surgery history
