Chemotherapy with or without KRAS inhibitor for pancreatic cancer

This study tests whether adding a new drug called INCB161734 to standard chemotherapy helps people with advanced pancreatic cancer that has a specific genetic change (KRAS G12D mutation). You would be randomly assigned to receive either chemotherapy alone or chemotherapy plus the new drug.

Who can take part

  • Your pancreatic cancer must have spread to other parts of your body (metastatic)
  • Your cancer must have a specific genetic mutation called KRAS G12D (confirmed by biopsy or cell sampling)
  • You have not received any chemotherapy or other cancer treatments for your metastatic disease
  • You are in good enough health to tolerate treatment (ECOG performance status 0–1, meaning you can do most daily activities)
  • Your heart, liver, and kidneys are working well enough for treatment
  • You do not have cancer that has spread to your brain, or it is not currently active
