Who can take part

  • You experienced or witnessed a traumatic event involving serious injury or threat to physical safety
  • You have symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) affecting at least three areas: unwanted memories, avoidance of reminders, negative thoughts/mood, sleep/anger problems, and symptoms lasting at least one month
  • Your PTSD symptom score is at least 33 on a standard screening test
  • You have reliable internet access and a personal computer you can use regularly
  • You must have at least 5 intrusive (unwanted) memories during the screening week
  • You cannot have been in a previous version of this study with this research team
