- Age between 13 and 45 years old
- Scheduled for ACL reconstruction surgery using either hamstring or quadriceps tendon graft (not patellar tendon)
- ACL tear in only one knee, with minimal damage to surrounding ligaments and cartilage
- Active lifestyle before injury (Tegner Activity Score of 5 or higher—able to do recreational sports or similar activities)
- Commitment to attend physical therapy regularly for at least 3 months after surgery
- No serious medical conditions like diabetes, heart disease, blood clots, or severe ligament damage in the same knee
