Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have lost some (but not all) of your teeth and had a sinus lift procedure to prepare for dental implants in your upper back jaw
  • You do not have uncontrolled diabetes, bleeding disorders, recent heart attack, head/neck radiation history, or serious mental health conditions
  • You do not smoke more than 20 cigarettes per day
  • You are not taking medications that affect bone healing, such as immune-suppressing drugs or bisphosphonates (bone-density medications)
  • You do not have sinus infections or sinus membrane thickening
