Who can take part

  • You had a spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) or fibromuscular dysplasia (FMD)—a tear or weakness in heart or artery walls
  • At least 2 months have passed since your event, and you are no longer having chest pain
  • You are able to exercise without major musculoskeletal (bone, joint, muscle) or other health limitations
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is below 36—roughly, your weight is proportionate to your height
  • You are medically stable and able to follow the study's exercise plan
  • You are not currently pregnant
