Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have a broken metatarsal bone (in the middle or neck area of your foot) that has shifted out of place
- Your fracture did not stay in the correct position after a closed reduction (manual realignment without surgery)
- You have either an open fracture (bone breaks through the skin) or a fracture needing surgery to stay stable
- You do not have other broken bones or a Lisfranc injury (a serious foot ligament injury)
