- You are 18 years or older and generally healthy (no serious uncontrolled conditions).
- You have a single receding gum area (at least 2 mm) on a tooth that is alive and free of decay or fillings.
- You have at least 1 mm of healthy gum tissue next to the recession.
- Your overall mouth health is good (no active gum disease, low plaque and bleeding).
