Testing a New Prosthetic Foot for Comfort and Safety

This study evaluates a new articulated (jointed) prosthetic foot designed to improve comfort, safety, and movement in people with lower-limb amputation. Researchers will measure how well it works and how it feels compared to standard prosthetics.

Who can take part

  • You are 18–80 years old
  • You have had a lower-limb amputation (one or both legs) at any level
  • Your amputation was caused by vascular disease, trauma, cancer, or was present from birth
  • You have completed your post-amputation rehabilitation program
  • You are able to walk with a prosthetic foot at a moderate to high activity level (K2–K4 level)
  • You do not have uncontrolled residual limb pain or open wounds
