Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 65 years old
- You are scheduled for elective (planned, non-emergency) knee arthroscopy surgery
- You experience at least mild anxiety or fear about your upcoming surgery
- You have no hearing or speech problems that would prevent you from communicating
- You have not received prior training in anxiety-coping techniques or energy therapy
- You are not currently taking psychiatric medications or receiving psychological therapy
