Who can take part

  • You have primary open-angle, pseudoexfoliative, or pigmentary glaucoma that isn't controlled despite using multiple eyedrops
  • Your eye pressure is too high or your vision is getting worse despite maximum eyedrop treatment
  • You either had a previous glaucoma surgery that failed, or your doctor thinks you're at high risk of failure
  • Your conjunctiva (clear membrane covering the white of your eye) is healthy with no scarring or previous surgery besides cataract removal
  • You don't have severe systemic diseases, neovascular glaucoma, or other serious eye conditions besides cataracts
  • Your corneal thickness is between 490 and 620 micrometers (measured by pachymetry)
