Who can take part

  • Your child is between 1 and 17 years old
  • Your child has one of these infections: skin/soft tissue infection, urinary tract infection, chest/lung infection, or swollen lymph nodes
  • Your child was initially treated with IV antibiotics and has now switched to oral antibiotics (tablets or liquid by mouth)
  • Your child is able to take antibiotics by mouth without difficulty
  • You speak English so the research team can communicate with you
  • Your child does not have a weakened immune system (from cancer treatment or other causes)
