Who can take part
- Age 35 or older with either fewer than 5 follicles on ultrasound or AMH level below 1.2 ng/mL
- This is your first or second round of IVF or ICSI (injection of sperm into egg)
- You retrieved at least 1 egg during your hormone stimulation cycle
- You cannot use donor eggs, donor sperm, or plan genetic testing of embryos before transfer
- No severe immune or chromosomal disorders, and no untreated blocked tubes or major uterine problems
- No uncontrolled high blood pressure, diabetes, or active cancer; no history of 2+ failed transfers or miscarriages
