Who can take part

  • You have end-stage renal disease (kidney failure) and receive regular hemodialysis treatment at least 3 times per week
  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You do not have an active infection or fever
  • You do not have a pacemaker or other implanted heart device
  • You do not have open wounds or sores at the sites where the laser treatment would be applied
  • You are able and willing to give informed consent to participate
