Who can take part
- You have a tumor in the pituitary or sellar region (base of brain near pituitary gland), confirmed by imaging and blood tests
- Your doctor has decided you need endoscopic endonasal transsphenoidal surgery (minimally invasive surgery through the nose)
- You are between 1 and 80 years old
- Your overall health is good enough that you're expected to live at least 2 years (Karnofsky score 70 or higher)
- Your liver, kidney, and blood counts are normal or well-controlled
- You have not had previous radiation or chemotherapy
