Who can take part

  • Be 18 years old or older
  • Plan to have endoscopic surgery through the nose for a skull base tumor or a CSF leak
  • During surgery, the surgeon must harvest your nasoseptal flap (a tissue flap from inside the nose)
  • Your planned approach uses both nostrils (bilateral) with work on both sides of the nasal passages
  • Your pre-surgery CT scan must not show significant sinus disease like long-term or current sinus inflammation, nasal polyps, or prior septal perforation
