Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have a planned (elective) aortic surgery—either open surgery, minimally invasive (endovascular), or hybrid approach
- Your surgery is scheduled in advance, not an emergency
- You can provide written informed consent before the study starts
- You don't have pre-existing paralysis or severe nerve damage
- Your skin is healthy enough to allow placement of monitoring sensors on your back
